Article Outing Food Babe as Not An Expert nor a Reliable Source of Info!

In case you missed the article on Gawker this week regarding Food Babe and her claims, I would highly recommend you read it. As you know, there is so much misinformation regarding nutrition on the internet that it’s hard for me to keep up! The good news is that there are other evidence based bloggers out there.

This particular article is a great example of why the information that Food Babe is sharing is absolutely ridiculous. The info in this review is right on and highlights that claims should be backed up by facts. Terms like toxins and allergies have definitions. Words should be used appropriately and not just thrown around to gain followers. ‪#‎endofrant‬ ‪#‎fortoday‬ 🙂

WARNING: Language she uses is a bit colorful.

And I leave you with this positive note. I spent last week “spring break” with my family (the whole circus, including my dogs) at a beautiful cabin in the NC mountains. When I came back, I spent 2 afternoons cleaning out my strawberry patch and herb garden. I was so excited to find this beauty:

strawberry blossom

It means STRAWBERRY SEASON IS COMING!!! And I will get to make smoothies from my garden. YAH FOR SPRING! 🙂
