Make Potpourri with Leftover Cranberries! Recipe and Instructions

This is not technically a recipe for eating, but I really love to make it this time of year!

I started making potpourri because I get kind of excited about cranberries. And then maybe I buy too many. Like 2 big bags from costco. There’s only so much cranberry one family can eat! The rest I put in the freezer and there it sits for a year.

SOLUTION! Use the cranberries to make homemade potpourri!

Here’s the recipe I like to use:

Homemade Potpourri Recipe:

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • allspice
  • 3 tangerine peels
  • cranberries
  • water
  • whole cloves (1tsp)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a pot.
  2. Allow water to simmer on low to release the aroma and humidify your home!
