[Recipes] Anti-inflammatory Eating

April 24, 2024 By Julie Lanford MPH, RD, CSO, LDN

We had a really fun cooking class last night, and we made 2 (or 3 or 4, depending on how you look at it!) recipes that line up with anti-inflammatory eating recommendations.

I owe a big THANK YOU to Intern Mia (pictured) & Intern Katie who helped plan & prepare the class!

Anti-inflammatory Eating

If you need a primer on anti-inflammatory eating, be sure to check out my Anti-Inflammatory Eating Webinar, and the accompanying blog posts (Understanding Inflammation and Anti-Inflammatory eating Must Haves).

As a reminder, there is no one specific anti-inflammatory diet. There are many ways of eating that qualify as “anti-inflammatory eating.” This would include the DASH diet, the USDA MyPlate, the AICR New American Plate and the Mediterranean Diet, or you can “choose your own adventure” eating pattern with my 5 daily habits that I suggest in my Plant Based Diets for Cancer Survivors” webinar!

Anti-Inflammatory Eating Recipes

Here are the recipes we made in class. They are so delicious! You could even serve the tacos in a bowl with tortillas on the side.
